The Times of India’s readership is dominated by young people from the top segment of society and it continues to grow in these sections, the latest Indian Readership Survey (IRS) has found. Of TOI’s readership, 42.5% are below the age of 30 and 82.3% belong to the A category in the New Consumer Classification System (NCCS) that has replaced the earlier socio-economic classification (SEC) as the industry standard.
