The Supreme Court on Friday refused to interfere in the arrest of five activists and also declined to appoint SIT. It extended the house arrest for four weeks of five activists - Varavara Rao, Arun Ferreira, Vernon Gonsalves, Sudha Bharadwaj and Gautam Navlakha. The activists are under arrest at their respective homes since August 29.
